JSTOR is a new resource available to EOU students from the Pierce Library alphabetical list of databases. Locate it at the library website by finding the link to 'By Database Subject or Name' beneath 'Find Journal Newspaper Articles'. Scroll down to find JSTOR in the list, and access it using your Pierce Library barcode and PIN.
The JSTOR archive holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journals, starting with the very first issues, some dating as far back as the 1600s.
JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated.
Learn about using this great new archive by linking to 'Tutorial' (following the JSTOR description in the list of databases), or look for 'Tips' in the red bar at the top of every JSTOR page.

Classes have started, and EOU distance students are using the Answerland email webform to ask questions about Library services available to them, including online catalogs and databases, research assistance, and electronic reserves.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask! We're always glad to help. We want to make using the library from a distance as easy as possible, and we welcome your comments and suggestions.
You can also check out Services for Off Campus Students on the library website. You will find information about printing a library card, tutorials, a FAQ page, and more!
