Learning to Learn

It's spring term, and you are all busy with classes. There is an art to college studying and becoming a lifelong learner. You might be interested in reading Keys to College Studying: Becoming an Active Thinker, by Carol Carter, Joyce Bishop, and Sarah Lyman Kravits. It includes information about setting the stage for success by managing goals, time, and stress. Request it from the Summit catalog, available from the library home page.

Pierce Library staff are here to help you as you navigate the sometimes tricky waters of learning at a distance; Answerland is a mouse-click away, and you can use the Ask a Librarian button on the library home page to reach others in the library. Look for the Services for Off-campus Students link on the home page, where you will find a FAQ page, tutorials, Off-campus Materials Request Policies and Procedures, and more!
