Online Photo Collections

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's an intergalactic spaceship!

In case you're wondering what it really is,
the photo at left (dated 1951) depicts a large boiler that sat outside the back of the newly built Walter M. Pierce Library.

This photo and thousands of others are available online from the library home page as part of our Special Collections.

EOU Historical Photos, where this behemoth can be found, highlight the history of Eastern Oregon University and include photographs of students, graduation ceremonies, the campus as it first appeared and grew, and much more! Collections are searchable and photographs can be printed.
