Spring Term Is Here

"Welcome back" from spring break! Soon it will be warm enough to meet friends or study at the tables near the front entrance of the library.

Library staff are looking forward to helping you get started this term. Visit the Electronic Resource Center (ERC) on the first floor to use the computers and receive research assistance.

Ask questions at the Reference desk, or email Answerland at

Have a cup of coffee or other refreshments from the coffee cart in the Reading Room on the first floor, and find quiet study rooms on the second floor.

We hope to see or hear from you soon!

Art Project (Google)

Imagine yourself virtually touring some of the great art museums of the world. Google's Art Project makes it possible, and Pierce Library brings it to you via our alphabetical list of databases.

Learn More, available from the Art Project home page, will help you get started. You will be able to move from room-to-room in museums such as New York's Museum of Modern Art and Amsterdam's Van Gogh Museum. You can zoom in to view works close enough to see detailed brush strokes.

Enjoy the trip!
