Directory of Open Access Journals
What is DOAJ? This directory is a source of scientific and scholarly journals that are freely available and offer open access with no delay (e.g. no embargo period).
Why use it? It is another avenue to explore as you do research in conjunction with Library subscription databases. The Directory aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use a quality control system to guarantee the content.
Give it a try - find it in the alphabetical list of Library databases or go to http://www.doaj.org/ - and post comments to let us know what you think!
